It really does. Hopefully they make it cause ive never played kid icarus.
Most people want to basically be a Zelda clone.
Third person action/adventure, with a few more platforming elements than Zelda has.

I never played a Kid Icarus game but I would like it to be a 3D adventure game with flight being a big part of it and the ranged attacks can be auto-aim

I would want it to be somewhat similar to zelda games, but with more focus on action rather than puzzles. For combat I would want a good mix of button pressing, motion sensing, and IR pointing. So like maybe deeper combat than zelda, but less items and weapons
there will be a next kid icarus game i think. will we like it?.. don't know.. i can only hope Nintendo will make soem games more challenging for the more experienced gamer.
Wouldn't mind a action/adv. game ala Legend of Zelda but make it focus more on Pit's obvious gain in platforming ability. I guess almost like a more serious-toned platformer.
An action game might be cool.
