If 360 gets Blu-ray, would it mean?

Would it mean that 360 surrender to the ps3? Because they would be using Sony's disc, although blu-ray is not entirely owned by sony, sony created it, and if Microsoft used that on their CONSOLE, wouldn't this mean defeat?If 360 gets Blu-ray, would it mean?

It would mean the 360 would have a BD-add on. I'm sure however Sony would get a profit of it somehow, though. Sony doesn't OWN Blu-Ray, but contributed into the process. They did not create it alone.So, technically, if Microsoft was to create a BD-add on, Sony would get a profit of it.
Defeat of what? MS supported HD-DVD to try and hurt Sony but they had no real stake in it. Blu-ray is just the new standard format and if MS wants 360 to be an HD entertainment system they'll have to have an add-on or include a Blu-ray drive in high end models. %99 chance all the next systems will use Blu-ray too anyways.

It means Microsoft bowed down to Sony's almighty will. Microsoft will forever be weak and feeble because of it...Or Mircrosoft will just get a Blu-Ray addon for the 360 and nothing else will really happen.

If the 360 got Blu-ray, it would be an admittance to it's loss. it would mean it took the wrong side, it would make Sony look dominant. I don't get why you 360 fanboys are admitting this defeat like pathetic little tramps, you all seemed so sure Blu-Ray sucked a little while ago.

M$ having the best games, bigger userbase than the PS3, better online and highest attach rate doesn't make them already look more dominent than sony? Blu-ray is clearly not necessary right now. It doesn't suck but it is unnecessary.

Many Blu-Ray discs use VC-1 encoding, which is an MS parented codec. Is Sony surrendering to MS?Silly questions...

There are plenty of us 360 owners that see through BluRay and don't see at as a viable purchase because the format doesn't offer a good enough upgrade to warrent a purchase. Toshiba just lost to the mighty Sony overhype machine...
