Does bad advertising affect your desire to play a game? My example is Lost Odyssey. I know it's a solid JRPG, but the awful commercial for it makes it impossible for me to be excited about the game, or want to play it very much. Anyone have similar experiences?Does bad advertising affect your desire ...
i usualy dont pay much attention to the commercials. i usually go online and read about the games and the review scores to get a good idea of how it will play. Does bad advertising affect your desire ...
I don't even see many game commercials.
In Europe or maybe only in Germany there aren't many ads for computer games. Never seen a Playstation ad. Most of 'em are for 360 games and the rest for WiiSports/WiiPlay or bad Wii games.
Not at all. Bad games affect my desire to play them, though.
Yes.Especially Peter ''Saolin323'' Molyneux
No I havent seen any commercial's for brawl but yet I bought it on day one. The only game in which the commercials hyped me for a it was halo 2 and halo 3 Bungie and MS were brilliant with the ad campaign.

I couldn't care less about advertising.. The less the better,,, But I dont really care..
I don't think I've ever had an ad decide if I got a game or not.
I rarely see ads for video games.
There are no commercials about video games here in my country and i couldn't care about its advertising.
nope not in the least, but i find that good advertising can increase my desire to play a game
No but I have a friend who buys games based on how ''awesome'' the commercials are.

I think it does subconsciously yeah.I think advertisements are part of the overall presentation of a games experience, in the back of my own mind.
