GT Prologue- Some people call it a demo or a ripp-off while others say its GT5 stripped-down or Lite.A couple of days ago we hear that GTP Pre-orders reach one million in PAL regions. And since then As usual System Wars reacted. So let us Define GT Prologue 1. First Lets see the contents of the Game :The game will feature 60-70 vehicles and 6 Tracks with Alternate routes. GTP will also support online play with up to 16 racers being able to compete on track. GTP will also feature split-screen for head-tohead local multiplayers, as well as a drift mode and extensive options for in-car tuning and telemetry tweaking. GTP will also have cock-pit view which is a new feature to the GT series. There will also be a GT TV feature which will be available at the psn (this will allow gamers to be up-to-date with the latest news related to cars aswell as download Top Gear episodes). Source2. Lets see how the game looks and runs : Video 1 HD Video 1 SDFor more videos and pictures refer to Gametrailers.com and Gamespot respectively.Well as we see the Game looks great and runs very good but might have a couple of problems at frame-rates. But 60 FPS as promised. Now we could come to the conclusion part. We cannot say this is a full game and not a demo because its somewhere in between. but we could expect a full game at 60$ and a demo for Free but this game surely has the value of 40$ and it could easily satisfy any gamer who is into racing games. This is one of the best Franchises on playstation and with these features and graphics and gameplay, this game should have a price tag of 30$ to 40$ not more not less. And describing this game i wont use Demo nor a Ripp-off, I'd rather call it by its name because it reflects its contents and what it is about. GT5 PROLOGUE introduction to GT5.Discuss...GT5 Prologue, The Final Discussion!
It's a good deal for racing fansGT5 Prologue, The Final Discussion!
Bit of a rip off but I'll still buy it.
A good deal to tie me over till GT5 in 09
lol, the final discussion... sure buddy, what ever YOU say....
I'm willing to bet GT5: P will be deeper and more complex than most full-fledged, full-price racing games. At $40, it's a bargain. Secondly, people need to stop referring to the game as a demo. I prefer to think of it as an open beta for Polyphony to figure out how to make the online experience as good as it can be. If you don't want to pay $40 to be a part of the beta, I can respect that, but lemmings shouldn't try to denounce cows for wanting to be a part of it. If Bungie offered people the opportunity to participate in the beta for Halo 3 prior to its release, don't you think more than a few people would jump at the chance? Even at $40? Of course they would.
lol, the final discussion... sure buddy, what ever YOU say....
its not like i am running this place, but lets just settle on one thing, if we have the chance to. again if your into making fun of something look in mirror and correct whats wrong in you before judging others ;)

If the number is low, it may be because it wasn't publicized. I knew nothing about it. I'm sure many people knew nothing about it.
i've seen that too but many were aimed to flame and bias, so i just wanted to find a logical explanation for this game and indeed i found it and everyone would if they actualy take a look seriously without being fanboys. and its quite simple GT5 prologue is an introduction to GT5 the full game.

Ehh well if you compare it to motorstorm its a pretty damn good deal. Since motorstorm only had 12 tracks and like 30 cars. I'm not getting it personally but its not a ripoff.
it's basically* a PART of an UNFINISHED game. that proves my point!

crackdown demo was free and just as good...if not better and yes it had online too..and it had free romaing enviorments not just cars.....so yeah i'll take crackdown over this demo, gt5 tho that is another story, it will be good but imo if it doesn't have vechile damage not jus bumper cars when u do it the opponent with a PIT then gt 5 will suck imo, love that in forza uc an totally ruin a person with a PIT into the wall. pgr tho is great because its hard to recover in its arcadey and awsome graphics, gt5 better trump those game or else imo it will be average, it better have the best of both games.

Don't understand such treads. Nobody force you to buy Prologue, if you want you can just wait for full GT 5.What's the problem?
