Wow, Echochrome is actually a great puzz ...

I just made a Japan account on my PS3, just to try the demo out. I must say It was fun! Aside from the sensitive analog stick movement (which will definently be fixed when the full version releases). The first levels were simple, just teaching you the basics of the 5 laws. But then it gives you this tricky one at the end... I loved it, no puzzle like it. It also has this creepy opara type music with a violin playing while your guiding your little dude through the level. =PIf you are not familiar with this game, it runs on these 5 laws..1. Perspective traveling - When two separate pathways appear to be touching, they are touching.
2. Perspective landing - If one pathway appears to be above another, it is above another.
3. Perspective existence - When the gap between two pathways is blocked from view and the pathways appear to be connected, they are connected.
4. Perspective absence - When a hole is blocked from view, it does not exist.
5. Perspective jump - When the mannequin jumps, it will land on what ever appears beneath it.So you change the levels perspective to get this stick figure to walk around it to collect these echoes. When you collect them all, you proceed to the next level.I could see this game being a big PSN title hit.Wow, Echochrome is actually a great puzz ...
downloaded the demo for psp and i agree, its really fun. Also use the D pad its easier than analog.Wow, Echochrome is actually a great puzz ...
So you made a Japanese account to get this demo? .... :lol:Dude you can get this anywhere without the need of even a PSN account, try pspdemocenter.com for an example.Anyway I agree that as a puzzle it's very innovative, but the game is incredibly boring if you ask me. And yes I did try the demo, bore me to death.
Ya just have to have that taste for slow paced puzzle games. =p I don't have a psp though btw.

Personally, I was very disappointed. I had high hopes, though. It just seemed too easy. But it is just a demo...

If I had a PSP I would be there day one.
