Wii and PS2 are dominating the sales as usual, PS3 and 360 are only selling at half the pace as the others. PEOPLE DON''T CARE ABOUT GRAPHICS that much in the real world. Why do SW posters refuse to acknowledge this fact? Why do they pretend SW represents the whole world?I own a 360 but I don't care about freaking graphics like some do. |I don't care much for graphics either, and neither does my wallet. Gaming is becoming more and more expensive. I need to play video games, but I also need to eat. :(

Ps3 and 360 offer nothing new. Game development reached it's peak in the Ps2/Xbox/GC era. (as far as controlling a game with two analog sticks can go) Unless you own an HDTV you really are foolish to say Wii has crap graphics. That is just it. People don't want to upgrade to HDTV's yet. Therefore Wii and Ps2 still sell. The graphics while playing Ps3 or 360 on a SDTV in comparison to Ps2 dose not warrant the average person to pay $400 for a console.

There are a lot more casual gamers out there than there are hardcore, that much is true, but to claim that all the Wii owners are casuals is dead wrong. I've noticed that lots of cows like to claim this, despite it being the exact same situation with the PS2. Double talk ftl.

It's obvious from these forums they are not. But i know alot more casuals and non gamers with Wii's and PS2s.

That would be statement of a fact. However, he responded by providing a fact that shows that cost does not influence who wins the console war. Thus, since your statement was proven to have a contradiction in it, your attempt to pass off your speculation as a fact was debunked, while his use of facts explained why you were wrong.
