I've had it with 3rd party devs treating ...

If you've been here for a little bit, you may know I hate the Wii. Hate it. Not because of the typical ''wii's graphics suxors!!111'' or ''Nintendo has gone teh casual,'' because the Wii can put out decent next-gen graphics, and they released a bevy of good games for the Wii.It's the fact that 3rd party devs are treating the Wii as A FREAKING SHOWELWARE CASH COW, THINKING PUTTING OUT SH!TY GAMES IS SOMEHOW BETTER THAN ACTUALLY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE WII'S CONTROLLER, unlike that of the PS3 and 360. It's the reason why I don't have a Wii. Let's see some examples of what I mean:
 • EA used to be serious with what they did with the Wii, now they put out cartoonish Sims and party mini-game crap
 • Ubisoft, my my my. They acted serious with Red Steel, and well...they don't even try to hype up games, they didn't do anything to help No More Heroes.
 • Sega, after Sonic and The Secret Rings, followed the same path as Ubisoft.
 • Capcom, seriously. RE4 sells millions as well as Umbrella Chronicles, yet they announce a RE0 port.:|

I am so frustrated here, and I'm tired like, hopefully, most Wii gamers.I've had it with 3rd party devs treating ...
Ubisoft, Sega, and Capcom most likely all have bigger Wii projects they currently can't talk about.I've had it with 3rd party devs treating ...
It's the fact that 3rd party devs are treating the Wii as A FREAKING SHOWELWARE CASH COW,
because it is..
Ubisoft, Sega, and Capcom most likely all have bigger Wii projects they currently can't talk about.
I really doubt it, with the way they're treating the 360 and PS3 projects.
i dunno most of the 3rd party wii games ive seen are disgusting, every1 i no that owns a wii are playing nintendo made games,
It's the fact that 3rd party devs are treating the Wii as A FREAKING SHOWELWARE CASH COW,
Ubisoft, Sega, and Capcom most likely all have bigger Wii projects they currently can't talk about.
Right... but they seem to talk about their other big IP on the other systems quite freely.
i dunno most of the 3rd party wii games ive seen are disgusting, every1 i no that owns a wii are playing nintendo made games,
But the 3rd party games take up most of the Wii lineup, and that's why everybody hates the Wii library, because Nintendo games have gone from being great games to being a godsend to Wii gamers.
Perhaps you should spend less time worrying about ''teh shovelwarez'' and more time playing the good games.
Perhaps you should spend less time worrying about ''teh shovelwarez'' and more time playing the good games. It has to anyway, it's a little more powerful than the GameCube, it SHOULD be producing some good graphics. And I never hated the Wii for its graphics, I was trying to say that while the 360 has better graphics than the Wii, the Wii SHOULD be able to put out decent graphics.
Actually, the lack of 3rd party support is what has been preventing me from buying a Wii, as Nintendo's first party stuff just does not do anything for me anymore, and has not for quite awhile. Games like No More Heroes, however, are starting to make me want one a bit more, but it is going to take more than just that one game to make me give in.I honestly hope it does turn around, eventually, because I actually do really want one, so that I can have a change of pace from my PS3/360 every now and then, and play some games that can only be found on the Wii. Unfortunately though, there is just nothing on the Wii beyond No More Heroes and the upcoming Rygar game that appeals to me. So, it looks like I will be waiting a bit longer before I ever decide to pick one up.

Okami, boom blox, de blob, Tales of Symphonia, Final Fanatasy Chrystal Chronicles, Fragile etc are all great 3rd party games on the way so stop your crying.

SEGA-??? Always pretending it's some huge slew of big ips for the other systems. When in reality it's not that big. Also believe theirs games in the works for other systems that arn't being talked about. It's pretty ignorant to say that their talking about it so freely.

It's the fact that the majority of devs that SHOULD be making good Wii games are just sitting on their a$$, putting out all this showelware, yet they can somehow make AAA games for the 360 and PS3, and hardware is no excuse for this.

You don't have to be a fan of nintendo's games to be a gamer. People have different tastes, and gaming isn't limited to nintendo first party. As for buying the wii for nintendo's games, that also isn't a critieria of a gamer.. i'm sure there are some people out there that don't care much for what nintendo has offered, but have a wii as a secondary none the less(though, nintendo does dominate in quality for the most part). Besides it's not like he was saying they were bad games. But, i will say(to ironcreed) that you can't be sure they don't appeal to you until you've actually sat down and given them a good try.
