I mean, I just can't understand why there has been so much hate towards it lately. I mean if you ask me, 2008 is shaping up to be a great year for it with games like Ninja Gaiden 2, Too Human, Gears of War 2, Fable 2, and Banjo Kazooie 3. Out of all 3 systems, it has the lineup I'm looking forward to the most. Granted the PS3 has Resistance 2, Killzone 2, MGS 4, GT5, and LBP, and the Wii has good games coming too, it has as much staying power as the other 2 systems. I just don't understand what the uproar against it is about.why so much hate for the 360 lately?
That happens when you overhype and underdeliver.why so much hate for the 360 lately?
360 is going to have a real good year too. But I think many people are just sick to death about the hardware issues. It's mostly the fanboys though going back and forth.
i guess because a) now that Halo3 is out, the 360 is past its prime and b) there is nothing innovative in the games coming. Granted LBP is the only innovative game coming for the PS3 and home will be a hit-or-miss for the PS3 owners, but at least it is something different from the hundreds of fps
it's really pretty simple, some people will always hate MS products.
That happens when you overhype and underdeliver.
Kinda like Sony and the PS3 with games like Motorstorm?
It's a role reversal... last year Sony was in the dumps, now MS is having a rough early '08. Times change.
It's a role reversal... last year Sony was in the dumps, now MS is having a rough early '08.
That happens when you overhype and underdeliver.
wow ....if you say so......i cant wait to have something to play on my ps3...the last thing i bought for it was ''no country for old men''....if anything sony needs to pick up the pace......i love my ps3 and anticipate much more games for it than my 360 right now....but my 360 is the system that has actually been played due to the fact that it has ''DELIVERED'' games
That happens when you overhype and underdeliver.
Which is what Sony has ALWAYS done.

When GTAIV is going to have huge DLC on the system? When games like Too Human, Fable 2, and Halo Wars are gaining hype with every month that passes? The idea that the 360 is the ''Halo system'' is something that only fanboys who don't have one believe; the original Xbox may have survived mostly on the strength of the first two games in that series, but Halo 3 was not the beginning of the 360, nor will it be the end of the console. If anything, people can now get over Halo, and move on to the many other games that deserve attention. Hell, with Mistwalker and even SquareEnix lending some RPG support to the 360 (not to mention the Tales series coming over), the 360 is getting better and the lineup is getting more and more diverse. Hardware failures have certainly hurt the 360 so far, but with even those slowing (and hopefully disappearing in the near future), there's no real reason to claim that the 360 is ''past its prime''.If anything, the 360 is getting even better with age. Now all MS needs is blu-ray add-on. ;)
That happens when you overhype and underdeliver.
The 360 runs the games charts. They certainly aren't underdelivering. If any console undelivers its the one with games that the install base doesn't deem worth buying.

Is it possible that the PS3 will show it's ''true power'' someday? Sure. But so far it's all talk, and since I've had much more fun with my 360 gaming-wise, I see no reason to give up on it now.
some people just can't stand greatness.
its not a matter of giving up on a system......its noticing that uncharted felt more alive than alot of my 360 games......im looking forward to what killzone2 ,resistance 2 ,mgs4, and lbp bring to the table....they all look alot better than what ive come to expect from my 360(graphically of course)....but im just stating observation because im also stoked for quite a few 360 games also...not because they look like they push any real boundries...but bc they look fun
