My Wii..I was expecting my 360. But it turns out my Wii's internal fan decided to do itself in.I don't have to pay anything to get it repaired, but it sucks that I won't be able to play brawl for a few weeks. So, the first console to die on me was.. ...
*Sniff* So no Smash? :(So, the first console to die on me was.. ...
Nintendo service is the best in the biz. Your phone call will be painless if have not done that yet.I sent mine in for repair and had it back in 8 days. Dropped it at FedEx on a Tues, and FedEx dropped it off at my door the following Wed

All I need to do is get one of my parents to drop it off at a fedex.

my wii broke before I even played one game on launch day lol, nintendo sent me a new one right away, but it was still pretty funny

a console has never broke
your 360 assassinated it, it was jealous at the fact that you were going to play SSBB a lot. lol jk.
I've never had a console die on me. I was really close with my gamecube though. The screen was weird and it couldn't read like half of the games I put in it. Luckily that was at the end of the Cube's generation and I got a Wii.
my first system to die was an NES but it was fixed easily by a nail file cleaned the contacts inside really well.
My SNES actually broke because a baby kid that came over to my house one fine day spilled milk all over it. :(
My GC broke. I think it was its lens.
I've had pretty good luck with all my Nintendo consoles, I've never had any of them break on me. Same with all of my Sega consoles, it's just been the Microsoft and Sony consoles that have been giving me trouble over the years. Well, not the original Xbox or the Playstation 3, just the Playstation, Playstation 2 and Xbox 360.
I bought a broken ps2 on purpose...2 broken xboxes
Sucks...

My first was an Intellivision. Yeah. PS2 died next, the 360's still going.
