I love how GT 5 Prologue gets bashed for ...

Forza 2 doesn't get bashed for not having In-car racing view with detailed complete car interiors. It just doesn't make any sense, how a ''true racing simulator'' where you can't even see the inside of the car. They both suck as racing simulators, until one or the other gets these features. Hopefully GT5 will get damage. I love how GT 5 Prologue gets bashed for ...

Damage can really enhance the visceral realism of such games.
People think ''the real driving simulator'' involves crashing into cars while you race.
If you were crashing at those speeds your car would be done for. What a great, ''real driving simulator'' that would be. Fanboys willl be fanboys though

It would be like a flight sim with no cockpit view.

GT5 P already, has the physics for the damage, they just haven't modeled broken cars, etc.
People think ''the real driving simulator'' involves crashing into cars while you race.
No, but I do believe it's laughable that the so called ''real driving simulator'' does nothing to discourage you from driving like a maniac.
People think ''the real driving simulator'' involves crashing into cars while you race.
Exactly what I think. If you want to crash cars go play Burnout.
Only noobs play bumper cars. Real men stay on the road.
People think ''the real driving simulator'' involves crashing into cars while you race.
Well... why does it even matter? GT is very far from being a ''real driving simulator'' anyway
People think ''the real driving simulator'' involves crashing into cars while you race.
In real life cars crash all the time during races, they dont just bumb off each other and act like nothing happened.
Damage in GT5 shouldnt even matter, last time I checked in a racing sim your not supposed to crash into each other. Unless the person is terrible at the game, the most contact youl ever see is slight bumps which would hardly be noticible if ther was damage in the game. I think forza fans should be worrying about ther bad physics instead of GT5's damage

Playing online multiplayer without any consequences to a players actions absolutely blows, because GT players will hit into you around a bend and become a dirty player to get ahead.
Why not try to own us with MGS4? Gran turismo thing is a non factor, I as many others on here like forza series better. The PS3 main problem for me is they have nothing I crave.
People think ''the real driving simulator'' involves crashing into cars while you race.
That's why people use that strategy on the GT series , just run in the other cars full speed while entering a corner , it will slow you down enough to stay on the track and you will gain some places without any penalty . Cool !

GT4 had an option you could turn on that would make it that if you hit another car too hard in its rear or wall too hard, you would not be able to accelerate for 5 seconds. Though by the way people talk, I don't think 95% even knew about this or looked for it in the options. No one ever seemed to turn it on and only complained about it in rally mode where it was forced to be on. People complain about no penalties then turn around and complain where there are penalties.
