time for mario to die

well not exactly, but i was thinking how many mario games are there? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Mario_games_by_year ok there is a few games in this list that aren't mario games as such, but still, talk about milking that cash cow, and most not even very good games, in fact would be slated if it wasn't for the fat little italian.imagine the uproar if there was half a dozen or more master chief related games released each year, or solid snake related and most just played on the namepersonally i think it's time he hung his cap up or at least went into semi retirement.and please dont say he's gamings figure head. we dont need one time for mario to die
If Mario dies, Nintendo dies.time for mario to die
Businesses making money by using a money maker? BLASPHEMYTEHEPICBULLNESS
Mario will never die. He will shoot fireballs at Master Chef.

Killing off Mario would be Nintendo's biggest mistake. Should Nintendo think of new IPs? yes. Should they kill off the old ones? no.

[/QUOTE]I beg to differ.
time to not put him in every second game that leaves nintendo... but super mario games are always top quality.. so let them stay..
next Mario game should be Super Mario Funeral. And you play as Luigi, no, better yet you play as Toad and you have to avenge Mario's death.
How about Luigi? Lets Bowser actually do something evil for a change, gives the Mario franchise a bit of an edge and gets rid of an annoying character. Everyone wins!
Yeah, without him games like Halo 3, Bioshock, and COD4 would get their chance to win GOTY :P
Lol, atleast im not forced too play all the games and can stick with the great ones..But that list is kinda disgusting...

No Master Chief, hardly anyone will get Xbox!

Nintendo doesn't need to ditch Mario, but only keep him out of the crappy games and keep him in the good ones. I suggest Nintendo makes more Super Mario Brothers titles (not that *New* Super Mario Bros crap), or keep making the great 3D platformers like Super Mario Galaxies. What they should STOP doing is making games like Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, since that's doing nothing except milking the dried-out franchise.
No it's not.

i think most mario games are good but a few were disapointments.
I began playing SMG this last week before my roommate bought Brawl, and I must say its a really fun game. If Mario continues to be in games that are fun like that, I say let him be.

Mario doesn't need to die. The platformers are stil good. We just ned to kill the spinoffs.
